Food provides us energy for activity, growth, and all functions of the body such as breathing, digesting food, and keeping warm; materials for the growth and repair of the body, and for keeping the immune system healthy.
At Camping Adventures NYC, our meals are always an important time, not just for nutrition but for gathering with family and friends. Here's a sample menu:
Friday evening:
Arrival after dinner, snacks served around our opening campfire
Saturday breakfast:
Bacon and Eggs
Home fries
Fresh fruit
Juices
Coffee
Saturday Lunch is usually something quick so we can get back to the fun:
PB&J or deli sandwiches, could be hot sandwiches
Chips
Saturday dinner: the big meal of the day!
Hamburgers and Hot dogs
Chili
Potato/macaroni salad/Cole slaw
Hot baked desert
Saturday evening campfire:
S'mores!
Freshly popped corn
Sunday breakfast:
A continental breakfast buffet
Possibly pancakes and sausage
Juices
Coffee
Of course we can accommodate almost any food requirement with prior notice.
